Sea Eagle for Solo Horn by Peter Maxwell Davies

Published by Chester Music

Format: Softcover

UPC: 9780711920545

SEA EAGLE takes its name from a rare and magnificent bird, and the music, unaccompanied and austere, is meant to evoke something of its high loneliness. There are three movements of great virtuosity, with ever-transforming melodic contours underpinned by unvarying motifs. The work was first performed by Richard Watkins at the Dartington Summer School of Music in 1992.

* Note: Houghton Horns is not in any way affiliated with the creators of this video. We included the video to give you a general taste of what the sheet music sounds like, but these artists' interpretation of the piece may differ from your sheet music.
