Paxman has introduced the Series 4 as a natural bridge between the Academy student horns and its professional level instruments. The Series 4 incorporates many features found on top level professional horns, including a detachable bell (standard), water key, protective nickel hand guards and nickel silver valve casings. Includes a Paxman case with backpack straps, lightweight and compact for easy transport.

Sound and Feel 

Made in yellow brass with a medium large bell, the balanced sound is characteristically warm, but also lively. Based on a Geyer style, the wrap makes for a free-blowing horn.

With an adjustable finger hook and thumb lever, the left hand position can be made comfortable for almost any player—no matter the age.
